Indy In Summer? No one is commenting officially, but iHeartMedia has agreed to purchase 3kW Class A WRDZ/Indianapolis from Disney and, according to documents filed with the FCC, flip it to Country. The purchase is part of a two-station deal worth $1.95 million that would bring iHeartMedia's Indianapolis station total to four. iHeartMedia plans to assume control via LMA ahead of closing and change the call letters to WUBG. The company has also registered the domain Big983Indy.com. View the purchase agreement here and the LMA here.
