Glenn Fly:
Scripps WCYQ/Knoxville morning co-host Glenn Johnson will join Cumulus' America's Morning Show as Executive Producer Monday (6/15). He takes over for Ashley Figueroa, who assumed the role on an interim basis in September (CAT 9/8). She remains in an expanded on-air and production role. "Glenn has an energy and enthusiasm for radio that is infectious," says host Blair Garner. "His drive and passion are the perfect fit for our team. And like the rest of us, he has a fondness for energy drinks! What more could you want?" Johnson spent two months at 'CYQ. Past stops include mornings on Cumulus Top 40 WABD/Mobile, AL. Reach him here. A search to replace Johnson in Knoxville will begin next week as former 'CYQ PD Paul Orr emerges from a radio hiatus to fill in.
