iHeart's Hunnicutt To New Label: iHeartMedia EVP & GM/National Programming Platforms and Country Brand Manager Clay Hunnicutt has been named President of Big Loud Records, a new division of Big Loud Mountain publishing and management company owned and operated by Joey Moi, Craig WisemanSeth England and Kevin "Chief" Zaruk. No one is speaking officially, but sources close to the situation say the label plans to hire a full promotion staff including a VP and is currently evaluating partnership opportunities with existing label groups. BLR's first artist release is expected to be Chris Lane. More on Big Loud Mountain here and Lane here.

"After more than 15 years here with us, Clay Hunnicutt has decided to leave iHeartMedia to become President of Big Loud Records, a record label startup," NPP President Tom Poleman says in a memo to senior staff. "Clay has not only been a great partner to me in the day-to-day operations of National Programming, he’s also become a great friend; I know you all feel the same. He’s been a pioneer and leader in shaping the great company that we are today, and for that I’ll always be thankful." No word from iHeartMedia on plans for Hunnicutt's many responsibilities.
