Two Of A Kind:
iHeartMedia WSIX/Nashville Dir./Promotions Kimsey Kerr has added MD duties for the station and Sony RED Mgr./Southeast Promotions Emma Applebome has joined the cluster as Dir./Marketing. Kerr assumes duties formerly handled by Tyler Reese, who left the station in May (CAT 5/5). Applebome's position has been open in recent years. "Kimsey's work on The Big 98 has earned her this promotion and opportunity to focus on all things Country in Nashville from Music to Promotions," says SVP/Programming Michael Bryan. "I'm also equally excited to add Emma's depth of knowledge and passion for music and radio to lead all of our Marketing and Promotions efforts across the platform." Kerr joined the cluster as Coord./Events in 2013 with prior stops at Emmis/Indianapolis and 5 Star Radio/Clarksville, TN. Applebome spent two years with Sony RED; she began her career in the booking department at Nashville's 12th & Porter. Reach Kerr here and soon, Applebome here. No word on plans for the position at Sony RED.
