For Hires: Woodward/Green Bay, WI Top 40 WKSZ PD/morning host and Adult Hits WKZG & WKZY PD Dayton Kane and former iHeartMedia WLLR/Quad Cities, IA-IL afternoon personality Jillene Kahn (CAT 8/17) have joined Scripps' WKTI/Milwaukee as Program Mgr./afternoon personality and evening personality, respectively. They represent the first full-time hires for the station, which launched in May (Breaking News 5/29). "Our search has centered greatly on people with local connections, hit music experience and a love of country music," says VP/GM Tom Langmyer. "Hiring Dayton Kane, a Milwaukee native who's ready to come home ... is a huge win for 'KTI Country. He has been on-air and programming stations in Green Bay-Appleton for more than 15 years [and] truly knows what it means to be Wisconsin Proud. Jillene, who is also from the Upper Midwest, is an exciting, up-and-coming broadcaster with an infectious personality who will do a great job hosting our live, local evening show."
