Back In Blake: Arista Dir./Northeast-Midwest Promotion Cliff Blake will join Sony/Nashville sister Columbia Monday (9/14) as Dir./Northeast Regional Promotion, as reported earlier via Twitter and Facebook. It's a return to the imprint for Blake, who spent more than five years there before joining Republic Nashville in 2011 (CAT 9/26/11) and Arista last year (CAT 9/23). The move follows the departure of David Friedman last month (Breaking News 8/20) and brings the promotion staff to five regionals and one national, which is echoed at sister RCA. Arista's hire of Luke Jensen this week (CAT 9/9) and impending departure of John Sigler (CAT 9/1) brings its roster to four regionals and one national, presumably leaving an opening there, if you're scoring at home.
