Outlaw's In: Saga/Des Moines, IA launched Country KSTZ HD-2 as "The Outlaw" last week (9/24) on translator K229CC, a new signal in the market. GM Jeff Delvaux tells Country Aircheck plans aren't in place for air staff, so it's just music and imaging for now. Musically, Delvaux says it's "the best of everything about country from Garth to Hank to Miranda to Kenny and beyond, all in one place." The station faces Cumulus Country combo KHKI & KJJY, which ranked sixth and eighth, respectively, in the spring Nielsen Audio diary ratings. Listen here.
