Life Note: Healing thoughts and prayers for Nashville producer Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark, Ray Scott, Jerrod Niemann) and BMS/Chase's Deborah DeLoach, who were assaulted early Sunday morning (9/27) in Nashville. Police are looking for the man and woman who struck DeLoach with their car as she was crossing Demonbreun Street. After hitting her, the couple got out of their vehicle and attacked Brainard and DeLoach. Although DeLoach is recovering, Brainard has severe facial lacerations and a broken jaw and is in the hospital undergoing surgery today (9/29). The case is still under investigation. Thoughts and prayers also for Bonnie Brown of The Browns, who will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October. On Monday (9/28) Brown revealed she is battling Stage 4 lung cancer. Brown's brother and bandmate Jim Ed Brown died from lung cancer in June (CAT 6/12). Brown started chemotherapy today (9/29) but plans to attend the Oct. 25 Medallion Ceremony. More here.
