Swift Sues Former Country Jock: Attorneys for Taylor Swift have filed a countersuit against former KYGO/Denver morning co-host David Mueller accusing him of groping her during a 2013 meet-and-greet. Mueller sued Swift in September alleging her false accusation led to his firing (CAT 9/14). The countersuit states, "Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault – it was Mueller – and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, [KYGO PD Eddie] Haskell, was the culprit," as Mueller alleged in his filing. "Resolution of this counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct ..." in which Mueller "intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission." The countersuit requests a jury trial and pledges that the compensatory and punitive damages sought will be donated to "charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard."
