You Dropped A Shomb On Me:
The search is on in Norfolk. As reported earlier via Breaking News, Max Media WGH/Norfolk Dir./Programming & Operations John Shomby is leaving after 13 years to become Dir./Programming for the Nash Network at Cumulus. He starts March 1 and can be reached for now here. "Bittersweet day here for sure," Max/Norfolk GM Dave Paulus tells Country Aircheck. "Thrilled for John and his family. He's a wonderful operations guy and will do great work for Cumulus, [but we're] sad to lose him out of our building." Shomby spent 13 years at WGH and the search for his replacement is underway. "Looking for the right match here," Paulus continues. "While I'll move expeditiously, I'll also be reviewing everything very carefully." Materials here.
