Phillips Leaves WEZL: iHeartMedia WEZL/Charleston, SC afternoon co-host TJ Phillips has stepped down after 25 years with the station. "I'm not leaving the area," he posted on Facebook. "Just time for something new." Phillips joined the station in 1991 following stops in Durango, CO; Johnson City, TN and other Charleston stations. No official word from the station, but according to the website existing co-host Ric Rush is handling the shift solo.
