Cruze Promoted At iHeartMedia: iHeartMedia/Augusta, GA SVP/Programming PD Jay Cruze has been named Dir./Country Programming for the Kentucky-Indiana region, which includes oversight of WAMZ/Louisville, WBUL/Lexington, KY and WUBG/Indianapolis. "I've had the opportunity to watch Jay evolve into a leader in his field and enjoy the successes that come from hard work and great instincts," says Regional SVP/Programming Michael Jordan. "He brings a lot to the table and will be a valuable asset to our team." Cruze joined iHM/Augusta as PD of Country WLUB (then WSCG) in 2014 (CAT 6/3/14). He was promoted to SVP/Programming for the six-station cluster early last year (CAT 3/19/15). Prior stops include Bigger Picture and iHeartMedia (then-Clear Channel) stations in Panama City, FL and Chattanooga, TN. Cruze took his first programming job with WBUL/Lexington 10 years ago.
