Chronicle: Condolences to the family and friends of longtime New York personality "Dandy" Dan Daniel, who passed away yesterday (6/21). He was 82. Daniel worked at WXYZ/Houston and WDGY/Minneapolis before becoming one of the "Good Guys" at Top 40 WMCA/New York in 1961. Later stops included WHN and WYNY when they were Country, and Classic Hits WCBS, from which he retired in 2002. Services are pending.
