'SIX Pack: Cox KCYY/San Antonio MD/afternoon personality Ryan McKiddy will join iHeartMedia WSIX/Nashville Sept.1 as APD/MD/night host. As MD he succeeds Kimsey Kerr, who left for SiriusXM in June (CAT 6/8). Nights have been tracked by WEZL/Charleston's Ric Rush since Tyler Reese's departure last year (CAT 5/5/15). "Ryan is a standout on-air personality and radio pro whose competitive spirit and passion for winning, tremendous relationships and love for country music make him uniquely qualified to serve as our ambassador to both fans and the Nashville record label community," says SVP/Programming Michael Bryan. McKiddy joined KCYY a little more than a year ago from WUSN/Chicago (CAT 5/18/15). Reach him here. No word on plans to replace him there.
