Abb-solute Power:
Renda WGNE/Jacksonville APD/MD/midday personality Abby Zellmer has joined iHeartMedia WDRM & Top 40 WQRV-HD2/translator W293AH/Hunstville, AL as PD. She succeeds AJ McCloud, who exited last month (CAT 8/2). "With her extensive experience working for both Country and CHR stations, she’s the perfect person to keep WDRM at the top of the ratings and develop our newest station – 106.5 KISS-FM,” says SVP/Programming Erich West. It's a return to the company for Zellmer, whose year in Jacksonville followed stops at iHeart's WMAD/Madison, WI and WMIL/Milwaukee. "I've learned a lot in Jacksonville and [OM] Chuck Beck has been an amazing mentor," she says. "I can't wait to bring that knowledge and experience with me to Huntsville." Reach her here. Beck is on the hunt for "a master of Selector [with] outstanding social skills, air shift and relationships with the record industry" to succeed her. Resumes and audio to him here.
