Life Note: Our thoughts are with WFRE/Frederick, MD PD Don Brake, who is in the hospital recovering from an apparent heart attack this morning (10/17). Brake was found unreponsive by WFRE morning host Tom Whalen, who called 911. Whalen, co-host Dianah Gibson and cluster WFMD-AM morning host Bob Miller performed CPR until help arrived. "I am stable now at Frederick Memorial Hospital," Brake says. "They continue to run tests to determine what exactly happened. America, Naomi and I are truly thankful for the fast action of my coworkers and the great care I have received from those who responded and have treated me here at the hospital."
