Preston Leaves KKWF:
Entercom/Seattle's Mike Preston is leaving the cluster, where he programs KKWF and Hot AC KHTP. He remains through the end of the month, with VPP Dave Richards handling the stations from that point while a search is conducted; apply here.
"The great singer Sheryl Crow once said 'A Change Would Do You Good' and for me, that’s an appropriate theme song," Preston says. "That’s because after a little more than seven years at Entercom/Seattle, I’m ready for a change. I'm very proud of what my teams have accomplished, making The Wolf the top Country brand in the market and putting our newest brand, Hot 103.7, on the map in a big way. I'm grateful to Jack Hutchison, Dave Richards, Pat Paxton and Mike Moore for the opportunity to put Country 'under my belt' and to pioneer the Classic Hip-Hop and R&B format." Preston can be contacted here and at 206-979-2500.
