Saga WUVA/Charlottesville, VA rebrands from Westwood One's network Nash Icon to "92.7 C-Ville Country" with new calls WCVL. The University of Virgina sold the signal to Saga as it changed its focus to a growing digital news platfom. (CAT 1/18). The station is airing 10,000 songs in a row. Listen here. The cluster's AC WQMZ personality Lisa Allen has been named Brand Manager. "It's great to be back doing Country" she tells Country Aircheck. Prior programming stops include WFRE/Frederick, WCYQ/Charlottesville and WEBB/Augusta, ME. She has been on the air in Charlottesville for six years. Airstaff announcements are expected soon.
