Steele City: The Gathering Mgr./Programming & Curation Michael Steele has been named Dir./Playlist Programming & Curation for WEA, a newly created position based in Nashville. He will be responsible for creating multi-format playlists for WEA artists on Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora and other streaming services reporting to VP/Global Digital Optimization Lisette Paulson. Steele moved to Nashville two years ago to work with Pop2Life, after serving as Dir./Operations & Programming for Pohlad Top 40 KTWN/Minneapolis. He was a producer for The Billy Bush Show and Rick Dees' Weekly Top 40, and worked at Alternative KDLD/Los Angeles, Top 40 KIIS/Los Angeles and Rock KFMB/San Diego. Steele can be reached here.
