Life Note: Singer-songwriter Wade Hayes has scheduled his last regular cancer scan. Hayes was diagnosed in 2011 and has been in remission for five years. He tells Country Aircheck that as he's recovered, his scans have gone from quarterly to every six months. Soon, they'll be no more. "Hitting the five-year mark after Stage IV cancer puts you in the top 12%," he says. "I'm officially a 12-percenter!"
