Boomer Sooner: 
As noted earlier via Breaking News, iHeartMedia/Charlotte programmer Christopher "Boomer" Layfield has joined Cumulus/Indianapolis, where he'll serve as OM for the three-station cluster and PD for Country WFMS. He replaces the departed Stephen Giuttari (CAT 1/11). Layfield's prior programming stops include St. Louis, Richmond, San Diego and Nashville.
