Industry vet Marty Wall has joined Cumulus/Detroit as Dir./Marketing for Country WDRQ (Nash FM) and Hot AC WDVD. He succeeds Curtis Paul, who has left the group. "Both Nash FM and WDVD are poised to move to the next level," he says. "I look forward to powering up the marketing and super focusing on upping our brand position in Detroit." Wall's experience includes positions with a variety of creative agencies, domestic and international television networks, and radio, which includes five years at Top 40 WHTZ/New York, Urban WQHT/New York and Hot AC WRQX/Washington.
Concurrently, WDRQ Asst./Production Josh "Bru" Brubaker has been promoted to Local Anchor for the Ty, Kelly & Chuck morning show. He succeeds Renee Vitale, who is considering another role in the cluster. Brubaker joined the station in 2017 as a weekend/swing talent. Past stops include Cumulus/Toledo, and stations in Monroe, MI and Bad Axe, MI.
