Craig Against The Machine:
Scripps has reached an agreement to sell its two Milwaukee stations, Country WKTI & News/Talk/Sports WTMJ-AM, to Good Karma Brands for $16 million. Good Karma is the Milwaukee-based and focused company of Craig Karmazin, son of noted radio exec Mel Karmazin (read more here). The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter. More sales are expected in the coming months as Scripps sheds its radio portfolio (CAT 1/25).
