Hope Springfield's Eternal: Former Ohana/Anchorage, AK OM Tom Oakes has been named OM for Scripps/Springfield, MO's five-station cluster and PD of Country KTTS. The station had been programmed by Mark Grantin, who passed away last month (CAT 7/13); Oakes left Anchorage in May (CAT 5/11). "A busy fall lies ahead as we prepare for not only the next ratings sweep, but continue to work with our ongoing projects, promotions and programming needs across the entire cluster," Oakes says. "I am also very humbled to be asked to step into [Grantin’s] role, and continue the great work he performed keeping KTTS on top of the Springfield market over the years." Reach Oakes here.
