Swamp King: Scripps WCYQ/Knoxville PD/afternooner Kevin King will join ADX/Pensacola as OM and Country WYCT middays in March. WYCT PD Brent Lane retains his duties. It is a return to the cluster for King, who helped launch the group 15 years ago; he most recently served as OM/PD/midday host for WYCT before taking the reins at WCYQ more than four years ago (CAT 9/10/14). Previous career stops include WYGY/Cincinnati, Cumulus/Lexington, WSM-FM/Nashville and more. "Kevin launched Cat Country on day one and understands the family culture of what we do," Lane tells Country Aircheck. WCYQ is currently seeking a replacement for King; airchecks and résumés here.
