O'Brien Departs WLHK:
Emmis WLHK/Indianapolis morning host Dave O'Brien has exited after 13 years with the station, 18 with the cluster and 23 in the market. O'Brien had been hosting mornings solo since 2010 (CAT 3/15/10). Prior stops include Charlottesville, VA; Roanoke, VA and San Jose, CA. "I'm proud of the five ACM Award nominations, three CMA Award nominations, the 2016 NAB Marconi nomination and three Indiana Broadcaster Association wins, as well as the countless charitable causes with which I have been involved," O'Brien tells Country Aircheck. "I am proud of the relationships I have built and enjoyed with the country music community and the connection I have had with the greatest listeners on the planet." O'Brien is on the hunt for his next opportunity; reach him here. No word from the station on plans for O'Brien's replacement.
