Mahalick To Seattle:
Former Alpha EVP Scott Mahalick has been named Dir./Brand Content for Hubbard's KNUC/Seattle. Concurrently, Fitz will join the station for mornings April 22. No word on the disposition of PD Lisa Adams or morning teamers Tim Leary, Claire Beverly and Karen "Red" Daiss. Middayer Seth Hughes is moving to mornings on the cluster's AC KRWM.
"I am truly honored to join the world class broadcast team at Hubbard Radio," Mahalick says. "Big thanks to Ann Marie Mulholland, Ginny Morris, Drew Horowitz and Greg Strassell for having such a strong conviction to invest in and support great talent at the local level. Simultaneously, we are thrilled to announce the return of Fitz In The Morning, a major Seattle icon, back on the airwaves."
Mahalick resigned from Alpha earlier this month (CAT 4/3). Fitz is represented by CAA's Michael Bryan and will continue his work with SBG programs The Hit List, The Fitz Show and Nashville Minute.
