Bo Time Like The Present:
Columbia Dir./Midwest Promotion Bo Martinovich has been named Dir./Artist Development for the Sony Music Nashville group and its imprints. In the newly created role, Martinovich will report to EVP/Promotion & Artist Development Steve Hodges and will work with all departments to create, implement and evaluate new artist development strategies. Martinovich, who has served as Columbia Dir./Midwest Promotion since 2005, will continue to oversee promotion efforts for the label until a successor is named. "It always has been and always will be about the artists and the music," says Martinovich. "No matter the technology or delivery systems, it's always going to be about the creative process, and I couldn't be more thankful to [Columbia VP/Promotion] Shane Allen for his leadership during my time at Columbia Nashville and to Steve Hodges, Ken Robold and Randy Goodman for this new, unBOlievable opportunity."
