Tack To KNCI:
Summit Rhythmic WKHT/Knoxville PD Joey Tack will join Bonneville KNCI/Sacramento as PD/midday host, effective July 1. Tack takes over day-to-day reins from Group Dir./Programming Chad Rufer, who will continue market oversight. Rufer has been handling KNCI programming duties since Byron Kennedy's transition to record promotion in 2016 (CAT 6/27/16). "We've spent a long time searching for the next programming leader of KNCI, but adding Joey to our team here in Sacramento makes the wait worth it," says Rufer. "His creativity and passion for creating remarkable radio is simply unmatched." Tack has been with WKHT since 2005 and has served as PD since 2014. He is a member of the 2019-2020 CRS Agenda Committee (CAT 4/17). Reach Tack here.
