Anthony Retires:
Empire KRTY/San Jose afternoon personality Tim Anthony retired Friday (8/30) after 18 years with the station. He will continue to do occasional fill-in shifts and production. "[Tim] lives about 80 miles away, so 18 years of driving back and forth everyday was enough," says GM Nate Deaton. Longtime KRTY staffer Tony Michaels, who previously handled mornings for Classic Country sister KLIV-AM, succeeds Anthony. Reach Anthony here and Michaels here.
