Gregg, Stephens Depart KBEQ:
Steel City KBEQ/Kansas City morning co-host Jillian Gregg and midday personality Ali "Stephens" Tuggle have departed. Zeke Montana and Mike Kellar remain in mornings. Gregg spent nearly 23 years with KBEQ beginning Oct. 1996. Stephens joined in 2015 following time with Zimmer/Columbia, MO; Cox/Jacksonville; and Entercom/Sacramento. PD Todd Nixon, who is handling middays on an interim basis, is now searching for personalities for both dayparts. A minimum of two years experience on-air and strong social media skills are required. "We are very active behind the scenes and on the street," Nixon tells Country Aircheck. "You don't need to know country, but you'll be attending 50 country concerts a year, so you should at least like some of the music." Send résumés and airchecks to Nixon here.
