Kash In Hand:
Cumulus WFMS/Indianapolis APD/MD/on-air host Adam "Kash" Kashner has been named PD for the company's WXBM/Pensacola, FL. He succeeds Nick Fox, who transitioned to Westwood One last month (CAT 11/21). Kashner joined WFMS in 2012 and was elevated to his current post last year (CAT 4/23/18). "Kash brings the knowledge and passion that he poured into WFMS and will no doubt take Pensacola's heritage Country station WXBM to a new level," says OM Glenn Johnson. Reach Kashner here. WFMS OM/PD Christopher "Boomer" Layfield is seeking Kashner's successor; apply here.
Concurrently, WXBM afternoon personality Matt Fisher has added APD duties. He joined the company last year following a 15-year tenure programming Community First/Storm Lake, IA's three-station cluster. "Having Matt Fisher officially take the role of APD with his creativity and experience completes a solid team to lead WXBM in 2020," notes Johnson. Reach Fisher here.
