Coronavirus & Events Update: Amid growing concern surrounding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has cancelled the NAB Show in Las Vegas, previously set for April 18-22. Considerations are being made for a possible rescheduled date later in 2020. "In the interest of addressing the health and safety concerns of our stakeholders, and in consultation with partners throughout the media and entertainment industry, we have decided not to move forward with NAB Show in April," says CEO Gordon Smith. "We are currently considering a number of potential alternatives to create the best possible experience for our community."

Also cancelling the remainder of its run is RodeoHouston, originally scheduled through March 22. "In the interest of public health, the city of Houston and the Houston Health Department have ordered the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to close," shares RodeoHouston leadership via an online statement. "A ticket refund process is still in the works and will be communicated once it is finalized." Among the country artists affected by the shut down are RCA's Kane Brown and CoJo/Warner/WMN's Cody Johnson, who were set to perform tonight (3/11) and tomorrow night (3/12), as well as Capitol's Jon Pardi, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Luke Bryan; Mercury's Chris Stapleton and Arista's Brad Paisley, all of whom were scheduled to headline nights throughout the remainder of the event's run.

Yesterday (3/10), Stagecoach 2020, previously scheduled for April 24-26, was postponed and will now take place Oct. 23-25. "While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff and community very seriously," say Stagecoach and Coachella organizers. "We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials."

Meanwhile, CMA Fest, scheduled for June 4-7 in Nashville, is currently on as scheduled. "CMA is first and foremost committed to the health and safety of our fans, artists and community," says the CMA Fest website. "We are continuously monitoring the very latest guidance from local, state and national authorities to carefully evaluate the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, we are regularly tracking travel advisories and restrictions, which currently do not include restrictions for any location in the United States ... We are taking appropriate steps to ensure festival grounds will be safe and comfortable for all attendees, including enhanced sanitation protocols and hygiene standards."
