Okie-Dokke: As we reported earlier via Twitter and Facebook, WKKT/Charlotte APD/MD Ryan Dokke will join Arista/Nashville as Mgr./Regional Promotion beginning Monday (2/28). Dokke’s territory has not yet been announced. He resigned earlier this month (CAT 2/11), and his last day is tomorrow (2/25). Commenting on Dokke’s impending arrival, Arista VP/Promotion Lesly Tyson said, “Drive and passion are two qualities that are essential in a great regional. Ryan epitomizes both, and I am thrilled to have him on the team.” Plus, the prospect of running trade shots featuring him and Carrie Underwood or Ronnie Dunn inspired this sure-to-be-recycled slug line.
