Islands In The Stream: The Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief launched today (3/25) with recommendations of verified organizations offering financial relief to the music community, beginning with MusiCares, PRS Foundation and Help Musicians. The streaming service is making a donation to these organizations and will match donations made via their page dollar-for-dollar up to a total Spotify contribution of $10 million. Additionally, Spotify is working on an optional feature that will enable artists to fundraise directly from fans, giving them the ability to drive listeners to a fundraising destination of their choice on their artist profile pages.
