Powers Moves: No official word, but Country Aircheck has learned Cameron Broadcasting/Laughlin, NV VP/Operations Craig Powers will be joining Curb | Word Entertainment. It is a return to the company for Powers, who served as Curb/Nashville Dir./West Coast Promotion from 1994 to 1998. He has spent the past 12 years with Cameron, overseeing stations including Country KFLG/Big River, CA. Prior career stops include then-CBS Radio/Las Vegas; KIK/Anaheim, CA; KEZY/Anaheim, CA; KIIS/Los Angeles; and Howard Tullis Broadcasting/Riverside, CA. Powers will remain based in Bullhead City, AZ. No word on plans for the position at Cameron.
