ALSAC's Proffit Departs:
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital/ALSAC Sr. Specialist/Radio & Entertainment Development Jackie Proffit has exited after more than 17 years. Her departure was part of a company-wide layoff of more than 150 employees as a result of the pandemic. “These are difficult decisions no leader ever wants to make,” says ALSAC Pres./CEO Rick Shadyac in a statement released last week. “But, just as we have done for the past 60 years, ALSAC must carefully manage the support of our generous donors.” Proffit joined ALSAC in 2002 following stops at Arista, DreamWorks and R&R and is on the hunt for her next opportunity.
