Chronicle:
Longtime Cincinnati radio veteran and former Country WUBE/Cincinnati morning personality Jim Fox (born Allen Duaine Pruett), passed away yesterday (5/18) at his home in Texas following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He moved to the market in 1974 as host of the Q102 Morning Zoo at then-Top 40 WKRQ. Fox rose to PD and OM positions at the station before Country Radio Hall of Famer and then-WUBE PD Tim Closson hired him to pair with Eric “Bubba Bo” Boulanger in 1992. Fox remained with WUBE until 2000 when he left radio and returned to his birthplace of Slidell, TX.
