Life Note:
Big & Rich's John Rich is mourning the loss of his grandmother, Cleda Ann "Granny Rich," who died yesterday (7/28) after a month-long battle following a stroke. She was 88. "Granny Rich lived through the Great Depression, The Dust Bowl Days, WWII, and many bouts of personal struggles in her life but managed to always persevere and work toward a better future for herself and everyone she loved," shares Rich. "She is an inspiration to me and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her and will be sorely missed." Rich's Granny Rich Reserve whiskey honored the woman he dubbed "the queen of the working class," who ran her own business until one month before her death.
