House Of The Riser Sun: Former Big Label Record Dir./Promotion Jeff Davis and 19th & Grand Dir./West Coast Promotion Roger Fregoso are joining Riser House as Dir./East Coast Regional Promotion and Dir./West Coast Regional Promotion, respectively. They join following the departures of Maurisa Pasick, Tara Shayne and Mark McKay (CAT 7/28, 7/27) as recently named SVP/Promotion Bob Reeves rounds out the restructuring of his team. The move reunites Fregoso with Reeves and Dir./Central Region Promotion Sally Allgeier, all of whom previously worked at Reviver/1608/DavMo. “Of all the Jeff Davises I know, this Jeff Davis is clearly my favorite,” quips Reeves. “His love of music and tenacious promotion skills make him a perfect player for the new Riser House three-regional configuration. And I’m thrilled to be reunited with my former colleague, Roger. His immitigable spirit, passion and dedication to the format will be a boon to the new team.” Davis departed Big Label in December (CAT 12/3/19), and his prior career stops include Red Bow, Cold River and more than 18 years in radio, including stops in Gainesville, Daytona, Charlotte, Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
