RIAA multi-platinum singles for August are Chris Young's "Tomorrow" (2X), Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber's "10,000 Hours" (3X), Chris Stapleton's "Fire Away" (2X) and "Tennessee Whiskey" (7X) and Eric Church's "Drink In My Hand" (3X). Garth Brooks' In Pieces was certified diamond, signifying sales of more than 10 million copies. Platinum single certifications included Maddie & Tae's "Die From A Broken Heart" and Young's "Lonely Eyes" and "Voices." Platinum album certifications were issued for Darius Rucker's True Believers and Young's I'm Comin' Over.
Gold singles included Ashley McBryde's "One Night Standards," Young's "I Can Take It From There," "Drowning," "Hangin On" and "Raised On Country," Cody Jinks' "Hippies And Cowboys," Scotty McCreery's "In Between," Breland's "My Truck," Brothers Osborne's "Rum" and Stapleton's "Outlaw State Of Mind," "What Are You Listening To" and "When The Stars Come Out." Blake Shelton's Texoma Shore, Chris Janson's Buy Me A Boat and Church's Desperate Man earned gold certifications.
