Some iHeart Furloughs Permanent: More iHeartMedia Country pros are displaced (see list below) as an internal memo obtained by Country Aircheck confirms the rumors of another workforce reduction. CEO Bob Pittman and CFO Rich Bressler cite positioning the company for the post-COVID future and a downturn that is "deeper and longer than originally expected." They continue, "As a result of changed work habits and so much work still being done from home, we will not need all the jobs we once had... While we have brought back some of our furloughed colleagues, and will continue to bring back some others, we will unfortunately be eliminating a number of our furloughed jobs.
