Mustang Rally:
White Mustang Records has launched with industry vet/musician/producer James Stroud at the helm as President. The full-service label will be based in Nashville and distributed by Copperline Music Group via The Orchard. In addition to Stroud's longtime Asst./Administrative Tammy Luker, the label has contracted 9,000 Miles' Pepper Meiler as Head/Marketing, former Project 369 Marketing CEO Michael "Benjy" Cruz to handle social media and publicist Craig Campbell in the Head/Media role. "As we were building this label we looked to partner with the brightest and most forward thinking distribution companies available before deciding that CMG was the perfect match for us," commented Stroud, whose prior stops include Capitol, Giant Records, DreamWorks and UMG. The company’s first signing will be announced next week.
