Common Cents:
Video platform Zoom is launching a service with event discovery and monetization features, OnZoom. The extension will allow paid Zoom users to create, host and monetize events like concerts, fitness classes, music lessons, etc. The platform will also help organizers schedule/host events and list/sell tickets and help users search for and pay for events and favorite, share and rate streams. CNBC reports the service is entering public beta in the U.S. and will become available worldwide in 2021. More here.
