Chronicle:
Warner/WAR Dir./Southeast Radio & Streaming Promotion Tom Starr passed away last night (1/11) following a battle with cancer. He was 56. Starr joined Warner in 2014 (CAT 7/1/14) following a long tenured career in Pop promotion, including stops at EMI/Capitol, Jive, MCA and Elektra. He was first diagnosed with Stage 2 Follicular Lymphoma in 2019 (CAT 3/26/19) and after undergoing treatments returned to work only to be stricken again the following year (CAT 7/16/20). Services are pending.
