Rate A Minute: Last night’s (11/22) 2020 American Music Awards (AMAs) on ABC-TV became the latest awards show to take a ratings hit as the show averaged a 1.0 rating among Adults 18-49 and drew approximately 3.8 million total viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. That resulted in a 41% ratings decrease from last year’s 1.7 and a drop from the previous year’s 6.73m total viewers (CAT 11/25/19) marking an all-time low for the broadcast in both measurements. Among the big three networks, the AMAs placed second behind NBC’s Sunday Night Football, which averaged a 4.1/15.2m.
