Kingsley Of Hearts: KCCS Productions’ Nan Kingsley has finalized a partnership with Opry Entertainment Group and Ryman Hospitality Classic Country WSM-AM/Nashville to air Bob Kingsley’s Countdown Classics beginning Jan. 2 at 10am CT. “Now [Bob’s] many fans across the globe will be able to tune-in and listen again to these great shows each week,” says Nan Kingsley. “In trying times like these, perhaps Bob’s voice can bring a bit of comfort.” Adds WSM-AM Dir./Content & Programming J. Patrick Tinnell, “We began speaking with Bob, Nan and their team about the chance to bring his archives to WSM-AM last year before Bob passed. He expressed his desire to be able to end his storied career on the station that the Opry calls home. Everyone here ... is honored to be able to make Bob’s dream a reality.” National and Country Radio Hall of Famer Bob Kingsley passed away last October at the age of 80 following a battle with bladder cancer (CAT 10/17/19). Nan, his widow, retained KCCS Productions and, in a multi-year partnership with Hubbard, launched a new iteration of Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 hosted by Fitz last December (CAT 12/19/19). Bob Kingsley’s Countdown Classics will air each Saturday; more information here.
