Detroit's Tidwell Departs:
Cumulus/Detroit Dir./Programming Lance Tidwell has exited after more than two years. He joined the cluster that includes Country WDRQ in 2018 (CAT 12/5/18). “I have been in radio since 1985, and while I won’t completely close the door on it, I do feel that it may be time to explore new opportunities, seek new challenges and learn new things,” shares Tidwell via Facebook. His prior career stops include time in Ft. Collins, CO; Kansas City; Tucson; San Antonio; Hartford; Seattle; Boise and Memphis. Reach Tidwell here. OM Mike Wheeler is seeking Tidwell’s successor. Send résumés and airchecks to Wheeler here.
