Alamo City Alek: As reported via Breaking News, iHeartMedia KASE/Austin afternoon host and Top 40 KHFI/Austin APD Alek Halverson has been named PD of KAJA/San Antonio, filling the opening created by the recent departure of Kyle Due. Halverson will continue his air shift at KASE and commute to San Antonio before making the move by year's end. Halverson joined iHeartMedia/Austin in January (CAT 1/6) and previously served as MD/afternoon host at then-Entercom KKWF/Seattle. He started his radio career at the Radio Fargo (ND) cluster, which includes Country KBVB. Reach him here. No official word, but Due is expected to be named to a post with Townsquare.
