*NSYNC:
Warner Chappell Music Nashville Dir./Sync Licensing Katie Jelen is leaving to start her own music licensing company, Honestly Good Music. Today (1/7) is her last day. Big Yellow Dog Music Dir./Sync Sophie Hopkins has stepped into the role. "It’s been an incredible learning experience, and I’m beyond grateful for what has really been an Ivy League education in sync and publishing throughout my time here," says Jelen. "Getting to pitch many of the songs from my childhood was truly a dream, and I’ll never forget the projects that I was lucky enough to be a part of along the way." Jelen joined WC in 2017 as Mgr./Creative & Synchronization after stops at Secret Road and Crescendo (CAT 9/5/17). Reach Jelen here, and learn more about her new venture here. Hopkins rose to her most recent position at BYDM last year (CAT 4/19/21) after three with the company; email her here.
